Dolphin Spotting Adventure & Sambok Mountain

The adventure begins with an hour-long trip down the intriguing Mekong River on a traditional fisherman’s boat, to Kampi – the largest dolphin pool on the Mekong River. Here you’ll spend an hour watching the critically endangered Irrawaddy Dolphins in their natural habitat.

After spending some time with these clearly intelligent creatures, you’ll head back to the mainland where the mystical Sambok Mountain awaits your ascent! The reward for reaching the top is the sight of an ancient pagoda and temple, adorned with faded paintings depicting Buddhist beliefs.

Take some time out here, to explore and take in the panoramic views of the surrounding rice paddies and forests, before heading back down the mountain, to your hotel.
